• How does Skinstorm by Crystal Clear work?

  Crystal Clear Skinstorm delivers enhanced penetration of active ingredients thanks to the synergistic effects of key elements.

  The formulations allow various active ingredients to penetrate deep into the skin, influencing collagen production and collagen quality. Meanwhile, other active ingredients work on the surface and upper layers, keeping skin hydrated and the skin’s barriers optimised for protection.

  Cold temperature treatments are important for soothing skin and delivering oxygen effectively, helping to calm the skin whilst providing the desired, non-stressed stimulation. During highly active treatments, it is important to avoid triggering stress responses in the skin, as these can cause problems after treatment.

• What results should I expect?

  Following a Skinstorm skin resurfacing treatment, patients can generally expect deeply cleansed, brighter, smoother more even skin, with fewer impurities and imperfections. Skin will feel firmer, plumper and lifted.

  Each of the Skinstorm treatments offers a slightly different range of benefits, which will be discussed thoroughly at the consultation stage.

• How does the treatment feel?

  Skinstorm treatments are non-invasive and completely safe and painless, with the majority of patients suggesting that they are wonderfully relaxing. Following treatment, skin may appear slightly flushed. This tends to subside very quickly.

• what aftercare guidance should I follow after a Skinstorm treatment?

  Following a Skinstorm treatment, patients should avoid undertaking any other facial treatments within 48 hours, as well avoiding heat treatments such as saunas or steam rooms. For the initial 24 hours after treatment, patients should also avoid perfumed products, self tan or heavy makeup application and refrain from touching the treatment area as the skin’s pore may be more prone to infection. Patients are encouraged to drink plenty of water to flush away any toxins released during treatment.
