Alison Ridsdale

Theatre Assistant

As one of our healthcare assistants, Alison is responsible for helping the surgeons in theatre and is especially good at putting patients at ease before, during, and after surgery. She is a calming presence who is happy to offer a hand to hold and is always ready to help to talk patients through any nervousness they might have.

Professional experience

Alison joined the Coppergate team in February 2023 after working at York hospital for eight years. Before her time at the hospital, she worked in numerous customer facing roles across a variety of sectors. Her extensive experience in such an array of fields means that she is, in her own words, ‘a jack of all trades,’ so the eclectic nature of her days at Coppergate suits her perfectly. Outside of the clinic she enjoys going on dog walks, visiting the theatre, and going to restaurants.
