Profhilo

Anti-Ageing & Skin Tightening

Profhilo is an innovative, injectable skin remodelling treatment that delivers visible results after just 2 treatments. Leading a revolution in anti-ageing medicine, Profhilo treatment is best described as a ‘bio-rejuvenator’, ‘bio-revitaliser’ or ‘tissue stimulator’.

Profhilo is the only treatment that stimulates the production of all 4 types of collagen and elastin. Profhilo enables natural skin rejuvenation through the slow release of hyaluronic acid. As a result, Profhilo treatment prompts skin remodelling and treats skin laxity, as opposed to merely filling lines and wrinkles.

Ultimately profhilo works to tighten your skin, giving you a younger, smoother complexion.

FAQ

  • What is Profhilo treatment?

Profhilo is an injectable, anti ageing skin remodelling treatment that works by tightening your skin.  Profhilo treatment creates visible results after just 2 treatments. Profhilo is revolutionary in the world of anti-ageing treatments.

During the Profhilo treatment, all four types of collagen and elastin are produced. This transforms your skin, giving it a youthful glow and softening  lines and wrinkles.

  • How does Profhilo treatment work in the UK?

Profhilo counteracts skin laxity through a remodelling action of collagen and elastin fibres of the dermal matrix. Instead of remaining where it is placed before naturally degrading, Profhilo treatment interacts with the body’s tissue. This results in natural regeneration, restoring lost volume in the skin whilst improving tone and texture.

  • How is Profhilo treatment carried out?

Every client’s body, skin, and required goals are unique. For this reason, a detailed consultation with one of our expert aesthetic doctors or nurses is essential before undergoing any advanced non-surgical treatment, including Profhilo treatment. During the consultation, your practitioner will discuss any problem areas, desired improvements, options available (including no treatment at all) and the expected outcomes. A thorough medical history will be recorded, and photographs will be taken to document your starting point prior to treatment.

If it is decided that Profhilo is the most suitable way to achieve the results you’re seeking , your practitioner will devise a bespoke programme of treatment. During the procedure, the injectable solution is delivered via a very fine disposable needle into the treatment area. If, for example, the face is being treated, five injections are delivered on each side of the face.

Profhilo is recommended as a course of 2 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Optimal results can be seen 2 months after the second treatment has been administered. We expect results to last for up to 6 months.

  • What results should I expect after Profhilo treatment?

As every client and Profhilo procedure is unique, one of our practitioners will discuss your expected outcomes before your treatment. Following our Profhilo treatment, you should expect to see some immediate improvement. You should see optimum results after the second treatment taken at a 4-6 week interval.

Patients can expect increased firmness, elasticity and an overall improvement in their skin’s quality after Profhilo. We expect the effects to last up to 6 months. Since the procedure stimulates the body’s collagen production, the longevity of results differs from patient to patient.

  • Which areas are suitable for Profhilo treatment?

Profhilo is most commonly used for facial areas. However, Profhilo treatment can also be used effectively for rejuvenating the neck, décolleté and hands.

Profhilo is mainly aimed at patients who have visible signs of skin ageing. There is no upper age limit, as Profhilo works on the skin. If there are deep folds present or the skin has lost elasticity, it may be best to use Profhilo in conjunction with another treatment.

  • Is there any downtime after Profhilo in the UK?

Profhilo treatment is non-surgical and minimally-invasive. Because of this, the downtime is limited. Normal ‘light’ daily activities may be resumed immediately following treatment. It is also likely that there will be no need for special post-treatment measures.

What is a Deep Plane Face and Neck Lift?

Innovative approaches to rejuvenating the face have evolved over time and the deep plane facelift represents a significant development in the evolution of surgical facelifts. It differs from a regular facelift as it involves the surgical dissection of the Superficial Musculo Aponeurotic System (SMAS) layer, put simply, this means that the deeper structures of the face can be tightened and lifted.
