• What is Viscoderm Hydrobooster?

  Viscoderm Hydrobooster is a highly concentrated hyaluronic acid-based injectable product.

  Once injected into the relevant area, this Viscoderm skin booster will hydrate and stretch any imperfections in the skin, creating a more flawless finish.

• How is Viscoderm Hydrobooster treatment carried out?

  Every client is looking for different solutions to achieve individual goals. This means that every Coppergate Clinic client is unique. That is why we ensure that, before treatment, you take part in a detailed consultation with one of our expert team of doctors and nurses.

  Your consultation before your Viscoderm Hydroboost will grant you the opportunity to discuss problem areas, desired results and the options that are available to achieve your goals. Prior to your Viscoderm Hydrobooster, a detailed medical history will be recorded, as well as photos to document the beginning of your journey.

  If you decide, along with your consultant, that Viscoderm Hydrobooster is the right treatment for you, we’ll produce a programme of treatment that is bespoke to your requirements.

  Before you receive your Viscoderm skin booster, the skin is cleansed, and an appropriate topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied approximately 30 – 45 minutes before the procedure. Once the area is anaesthetised, the injectable solution is delivered by inserting a very fine disposable needle into the treatment area.

  Viscoderm Hydrobooster is recommended as a course of 2 treatments spaced 8 weeks apart. Optimal results can be seen 2 months after the second treatment has been administered. You can expect the results of a Viscoderm Hydroboost to last around 6-9 months.

• What results should I expect following Viscoderm Hydrobooster?

  As every client and Viscoderm Hydrobooster procedure is unique, your aesthetic doctor or nurse will discuss the specific expected outcomes prior to your treatment.

  Following your Viscoderm skin booster, you should expect to see some immediate improvement. However, the optimum results will be visible after the second treatment is received 8 weeks later. Following treatment, patients should expect increased skin elasticity, radiance and luminosity with superficial wrinkles stretched and smoothed. All of these results from your Viscoderm Hydroboost generally last around 6-9 months.

• Which areas are suitable for Viscoderm Hydrobooster treatment?

  Viscoderm Hydrobooster is most commonly used for facial areas but can also be used to effectively rejuvenate the neck, décolleté and hands. Viscoderm skin boosters are mainly aimed at patients who have visible signs of skin ageing. There is no upper age limit, as Viscoderm Hydrobooster works on the skin.

• Is there any downtime following a Viscoderm Hydroboost treatment?

  Viscoderm treatment is non-surgical and minimally invasive, with limited down-time. Normal ‘light’ daily activities may be resumed immediately following treatment.
