Professional experience
Kirsty is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon on the General Medical Council Specialist Register, with over 12 years of specialist training and experience in Plastic Surgery. She graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 and completed an MD at the University of Bradford in 2023, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence to improve burn care.
In 2024, she was appointed as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Pinderfields Hospital with a specialist interest in breast oncology, breast reconstruction, and perineal reconstruction.
Following completion of her Plastic Surgery training, Kirsty undertook fellowships in breast reconstruction and lower limb microsurgical reconstruction. She also completed a nationally awarded oncoplastic breast fellowship, giving her dual expertise in breast oncology, reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery.
Her aesthetic training includes completion of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Cosmetic Mentorship at Coppergate Clinic under the guidance of Mr Nicholas Rhodes. She was also awarded the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons Michael Hackett Prize for best presentation at the prestigious Aesthetic Conference.
She is a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons, and Association of Breast Surgery.
At Coppergate Clinic, Kirsty’s practice focuses on peri-orbital and mid-face rejuvenation, alongside breast and body surgery. She is committed to providing bespoke treatment plans, meticulous surgical care, and natural-looking results in a safe and supportive environment.
