What is a Deep Plane Facelift?
The deep plane facelift is an innovative procedure that targets the deeper tissues of the superficial musculoaponeurotic system to achieve long-lasting, natural results.
The surgeon releases the deep retaining ligaments of the face to allow the deep facial structures, including the underlying facial muscles, to be lifted and repositioned together without causing tension between the deeper tissues and the superficial skin.
Facial fat can be removed at the same time.
Traditional facelifts focus on tightening weak facial muscles and trimming away excess skin caused by the loss of skin elasticity.
